Background :
With an extensive and successful career as a corporative executive
spanning the globe from Latin America, to Asia, to Europe and
back home in the U.S., James has dealt with the "common thread"
characteristic across many functional areas: solving
new and unexpected business challenges.
Among the challenges are: expanding company presence in new
regions, launching new products, building and improving direct
and indirect sales channels, and managing under-performing
executives and/or divisions.
Core Belief :
The presence of "leadership" in business is the single most important element in determining success, whether the objectives are: financial, reputation in the marketplace, or quality of life in the workplace.
Most companies place a premium and focus on "management", which is required for baseline performance. Very few companies, either through choice or lack of awareness, place a focus on "leadership", which always keep the "good" from becoming "great".
"Managers do things right; leaders do the right thing"*
